Default IC-256 Battery life

I've had my i-scream player for over a year and I've noticed that the battery seems to be running down faster & faster, even when I'm not using the player - I charged it 2 days ago (it was plugged in to the PC all day), listened to it for 30 minutes that evening, but when I tried to turn it on last night it was completely dead again.

Is there anything I can do about this, or do I need to get a new player?

There seems to be a problem with the internal battery. If it is still under warranty please contact your retailer and ask for an exchange.
